Jericho

New TV show on the air.

Jericho, a small farming town in Colorado one day sees a mushroom cloud over the horizon. This is followed by a complete breakdown of communications and the town is completely isolated from the world.

No power. No news. No phones. No radio contact.

A mushroom cloud sighting over Denver. A telephone message from Atlanta seconds before Atlanta was similarly nuked.

A small town trying to keep together, while trying to figure out who’s attacking them.

So far, the story looks good. The acting good. And there’s a lot of potential in the story.

Drat! One more TV series to follow… on top of Battlestar Galactica, Lost, House, Family Guy, The Simpsons, My Name Is Earl.

Air Asia is a cyber squatter

FAX, Fly Asian Xpress, is a low cost carrier that operates domestic flights within Sabah and Sarawak.

They are doing an incredible service, flying to destinations that are beneath notice.

But they really dropped the ball with their online booking.

Well, system wise, it has the same interface as Air Asia, which most net-savvy people are already familiar with. This is brilliant. One should not re-invent the wheel.

But where they screwed up, was their domain name.

http://www.flyasianxpress.com ??

It’s too long, and what if you don’t know about the deliberate omission of the ‘E’ in ‘Express’ ??

http://www.flyasianexpress.com is taken up by your typical con-job web-portal.

And, http://www.flyasianexpress.com.my is being squatted by Air Asia!! It redirects you to the Air Asia website.

What a lousy sneak!
