Google Page Rank

Google Page Rank will determine how likely your website will show up on a Google search.

If you’re just writing a blog, it doesn’t really matter. As long as your friends have your blog address, right? Or as long as random people will stumble on your random website via random Google searches like “Hentai Squirrel”.

Sheesh…

The Page Rank is explained somewhat here under Google Technology.

You can check your rank in websites like PRChecker.

When I looked last month, my Page Rank was ZERO.

I’m not even worthy of being ranked.

But something happened in the last month. Cos suddenly, I am ranked 1!!

Haha! I am finally Ranked!

So what does that mean for me? It means that I now get to write for more opportunities at Pay Per Post! All the scrub opportunities that pay $5 are always completely reserved by scrubbie new webmasters. I never managed to get into another opportunity after that first one.

But suddenly, I gained access to 3 new opportunities today!

KA-Ching!!

Litigation Finance

Okay, this is the first I’ve heard of such a thing as a lawsuit cash advance. It’s part finance, part gambling, part insurance, I don’t know how to begin describing it.

Say, you were dining at the restaurant of a major chain hotel. Somehow you spilt hot coffee all over your thighs. The lawsuit against the hotel will pretty much set you up for life (they should have told you that the coffee was hot!). But the trial is taking some time. In the meantime, you’re out of a job cos of the pain and emotional trauma. Who’s gonna pay the bills until your big cheque comes?

What Law Max does, is they GIVE you a cash advance. When you get your settlement, you pay them for the advance plus the rates they charge. This isn’t a loan, cos if you lose the settlement, you don’t have to pay them back for the advance.

So… they’re betting on you winning the settlement. Wow. But they charge you their rates on a case by case basis, a risk premium depending on how likely you’ll win the case. So… it’s more like an insurance?? Then again, isn’t a life insurance also like gambling with the insuring company that something bad won’t happen to you?

This… is such a fascinatingly sophisticated service, that I’ld would’ve blogged about it even if I wasn’t rewarded for doing so.

So check out this out if you’re in need of litigation finance.
